Aromas of stone fruit and melon with some spicy notes. Pink grapefruit shines through with the bright acid drive. A medium to full bodied pallet with a lovely texture.
Picked on the riper spectrum of flavours our aim was to make a wine that wasn’t the typical Sauvignon Blanc style that many people associate the variety with. We wanted texture and a fuller flavour. The wine was barrel fermented in old French oak hogsheads and barriques. They were stirred and topped fortnightly for 5 months prior to bottling. The wine was cold stabilized using bentonite and is vegan-friendly. Best served cold.
